You are so right. there is no need to use eggs. in fact, here is a good vegan egg replacer recipe. We happen to have a local source of eggs from chickens that run around and seem to have a good time. You may still not agree with that but it works for us. They are loved and cared for.

I am going off meat for lent. I have a pound of black eyed peas cooking on the stove, but don’t know what to do with them. Does anyone have a good, but simple recipe?

I made this recipe, I used an additional 6oz. of chocolate chips, Florida crystals for the sugar instead of Turbinado, and Willow Soybean Margarine and lined the pan with crushed peanuts. I don’t think any of those items really matter, the recipe is great. These peanut butter bars are super delicious!

Why call it Chicken Noodle Soup? You should have called it Chicken substitute noodle soup.
