Great just as is, this is the lentil, which you know is so tasty and great for you.


  • 1 cup lentils – brown (aka green) or red
  • 2 1/2 cups vegetable stock
  • 1 teaspoon salt


  1. After checking over the lentils for any foreign object such as a small pebble or odd bean, pour stock over lentils in a medium soup pan, add salt and boil for 20 minutes.

There you got it. Simple plain and delicious lentils. From here you can go anywhere!
