This really works well and it’s easy as pie to make – actually a lot easier than making pie. I’ve used it in most everything – chocolate chip cookie dough, even. YUMMMMMMM. It adds a bit of a nutty taste so keep this in mind – but it’s a good nutty taste.

Ingredients:

  • 1/3 cup flax seeds or ground flax seeds
  • 1 cup water

Use 3 tbsp of the finished mixture for each egg.

Try this for Single egg replacement:

2 Tablespoons ground flax seeds plus 3 Tablespoons water.

Directions:

1. In a blender, either grind the flax seeds to a pulp and then add the water slowly OR add the already ground flax seeds and then add the water. Blend for a very short time until it gets gooey and a consistency a bit like egg white.

3. If you are using ground flax, you can mix the water together with a fork. Just whisk it well.

2. Store in covered container in the refrigerator – it will keep around 1-2 weeks.
