Sweet Chili sauce is good for thai recipes or for use as a dipping sauce.


  • 3 tbsp hot ground chili paste
  • 2 tsp garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup rice wine vinegar
  • 2/3 cup water
  • 2/3 cup sugar
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 4 tsp cornstarch
  • 3 tbsp chopped cilantro


  1. In a pot, add all ingredients (except cilantro) and mix well.
  2. Cook over medium heat and bring to a boil, stirring constantly.
  3. Turn down heat and simmer for 5 minutes.
  4. Remove from burner and add cilantro.
  5. Store in refrigerator.
