Sweet Chili sauce is good for thai recipes or for use as a dipping sauce.
- 3 tbsp hot ground chili paste
- 2 tsp garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup rice wine vinegar
- 2/3 cup water
- 2/3 cup sugar
- 1 tsp salt
- 4 tsp cornstarch
- 3 tbsp chopped cilantro
- In a pot, add all ingredients (except cilantro) and mix well.
- Cook over medium heat and bring to a boil, stirring constantly.
- Turn down heat and simmer for 5 minutes.
- Remove from burner and add cilantro.
- Store in refrigerator.
